With some big games on the agenda this weekend, here are five potential goalscorers to keep an eye on across Europe, with the selections set to feature in the FA Cup, Premier League, Bundesliga, Serie A and Ligue 1.

Niclas Fullkrug is the top scorer in the Bundesliga this season despite suffering from a number of injuries that have kept him out of parts of the campaign.

The Germany international has netted 16 times in 26 games in the league to help Werder Bremen move comfortably clear of the relegation zone.

They face Hertha Berlin on Saturday, who are bottom of the table and have the second-worst defensive record in the division, conceding 55 times in 28 games.

Fullkrug has six goals in his last eight matches in all competitions and is fancied to get on the scoresheet once again in this clash.

Jonathan David is the joint-top scorer in Ligue 1 this season with 20 goals in 30 games and he can continue his strong form when Lille visit Auxerre on Saturday.

The hosts have one of the worst defensive records in the division, having conceded 52 goals from 31 matches, and they are just three points clear of safety.

David has netted five times in his last six games, including against Montpellier last time out and could make serious inroads against a poor Auxerre defence.

Salernitana have begun to pull away from the relegation zone after going seven games unbeaten and they will be hoping to continue that run when they host Sassuolo on Saturday.

Striker Boulaye Dia has been integral to Salernitana's success this season and he looks their likeliest path to goal.

The Senegal international has four goals in his last six starts in all competitions and also had four shots in 45 minutes against Inter recently.

Harry Kane has a rock solid goalscoring record against Newcastle, netting nine times in 14 games against the Magpies with a goal once every 141 minutes against them.

The England captain is fancied to get on the scoresheet in this crucial clash on Sunday as the race for the top four continues.

Kane has seven goals in his last seven matches in all competitions and last time out against Bournemouth was the only time in that run he failed to find the net.

The 29-year-old is second in the goalscoring charts in the Premier League with 23 this season and could add to that this weekend.

Brighton have been a major surprise package in the Premier League this season and have translated that form into an FA Cup campaign that has seen them reach the semi-final against Manchester United on Sunday.

A key element to their success has been the efforts of Kaoru Mitoma, who has netted seven times in 17 league starts for the Seagulls.

The winger has three goals in his last seven games in all competitions, including in the FA Cup quarter-final win over Grimsby, and he is fancied to get on the scoresheet once more.
