Fantasy managers are under the pump at the moment with two Gameweeks for the price of one.

Gameweek 12 was one for the keepers with Bernd Leno, David Raya and Dean Henderson all budget options racking up over 10 points.

And Steven Gerrard has been axed from the real-life dugout after Aston Villa slumped to another miserable defeat, in a night to forget for his defenders.

We take a look at the best and worst performers so you can avoid a similar fate with a short turnaround to the weekend action.

Gameweek 12 top performers

Alisson (Liverpool)

Liverpool have kept consecutive clean sheets for the first time this season after backing up their 1-0 win over Manchester City with a repeat scoreline against West Ham.

Alisson earned a whopping 15 points for his contribution thanks to his crucial penalty save from Jarrod Bowen just before the break.

He has a tasty-looking clash with Nottingham Forest up next and also faces Leeds and Southampton before the World Cup break, either side of a tricky contest at Tottenham.

Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United)

Manchester United dominated Tottenham on Wednesday night and Bruno Fernandes was at the heart of much of their good work.

The Portuguese playmaker rewarded the 2.1% of bosses who braved his £9.1million price tag with a solid 11 points thanks to his second-half strike.

Fernandes remains a costly option with just two goals in 10 league outings this season and this weekend's clash at Chelsea is a tough one.

But with West Ham and Aston Villa both on the menu in the coming weeks, the midfielder may get back to his prolific best in an improved side.

Eberechi Eze (Crystal Palace)

Eberechi Eze scored Crystal Palace's equaliser in their comeback win over Wolves.

It was the trickster's second strike in three games but he is still owned by just 3.8% of managers.

Eze has earned 23 of his 47 total points this season in his last three outings and should have more opportunities with Everton, Southampton and West Ham up next.

Gameweek 12 worst performers

Harry Kane (Tottenham)

Spurs have managed success in front of goal despite their defensive tactics this season thanks largely to Harry Kane's lethal form.

But the England talisman was unable to produce anything against United and just over 23% of bosses saw just two points come their way.

Newcastle and Bournemouth will provide chances to get back on track before a much-improved Liverpool defence visit North London.

Ivan Toney (Brentford)

Ivan Toney has been one of the stars of this season and is only behind Kane and Erling Haaland in the overall standings.

But the Bees did not spend much time buzzing around the Chelsea goal in a 0-0 draw and he managed just two points this time out.

Wolves could be the ideal opportunity for Toney to rediscover the sting in his tail this weekend.

Tyrone Mings (Aston Villa)

Gerrard's doomed Aston Villa tenure was a rocky time for Tyrone Mings, who was stripped of the captaincy and publicly challenged by his former boss.

The Liverpool icon's reign ended with a limp 3-0 defeat at Fulham which saw the 4.4% of managers who own Mings stung by the defender's own goal.

Much will depend on who the new man in the dugout is but Villa have a tough run of games either side of the World Cup so it is probably best to steer clear of their defenders.
