The FA Cup quarter-final draw has been completed and defending champions Manchester City will play Newcastle at home after securing progress with a 6-2 win against Luton.

Erling Haaland scored five goals and Kevin De Bruyne notched four assists at Kenilworth Road as the superstar pairing sent an ominous warning to the rest of the teams left in the competition.

In contrast, Newcastle needed a penalty shootout and some heroics from goalkeeper Martin Dubravka to finally see off Blackburn at Ewood Park following a 1-1 draw.

And there is another potential FA Cup cracker in the making as Manchester United host Liverpool following the Premier League duo's wins this evening.

A late Casemiro header secured a 1-0 victory for the Red Devils at Nottingham Forest, while a brace from young Jayden Danns helped Jurgen Klopp's Reds claim a 3-0 triumph over Southampton.

Elsewhere, Leicester will travel to Chelsea following their impressive 1-0 win at Bournemouth — secured by a 105th-minute goal by Ghana international Abdul Fatawu.

Chelsea gained passage to the quarter-finals by beating Leeds 3-2 at Stamford Bridge, Conor Gallagher netting a dramatic late winner for Mauricio Pochettino's side.

Championship side Coventry were the first team to qualify for the last eight after beating sixth-tier Maidstone 5-0 on Monday evening and they will play Wolves away from home.

All FA Cup quarter-final ties will take place across the weekend starting March 16.
