Both teams to score

Everton will aim to extend their unbeaten run to five matches when they welcome Fulham to Goodison Park on Saturday evening.

Sean Dyche's side have finally built up some momentum after a slow start and climbed up to 16th in the table, while the Cottagers have lost their last two matches in the Premier League.

The two sides played each other three teams last season, with two games finishing in draws, while Fulham won 1-0 on Merseyside in August.

Team News

Dyche will hope Jesper Lindstrom and Jarrad Branthwaite can recover from illness and a muscle injury, while Tim Iroegbunam, James Garner, Armando Broja and Youssef Chermiti are all expected to return next month.

Fulham defender Joachim Andersen is suspended after his red card against Aston Villa in Saturday's 3-1 defeat at Craven Cottage, while Timothy Castagne, Sasa Lukic, Jorge Cuenca and Carlos Vinicius are all sidelined until November.

Marco Silva will want to see a reaction to back-to-back Premier League defeats.

The stats

Everton have avoided defeat in their previous four in the Premier League, beating Crystal Palace and Ipswich, while they also secured draws against Leicester and Newcastle.

The Toffees are unbeaten in two at home, while Fulham have lost their previous two games in the top-flight to Manchester City and Aston Villa, conceding six goals in the process.

Fulham have only won one of their previous four on the road, but they have scored in their last five on their travels, while they have netted in nine consecutive matches in all competitions.

Prediction

Despite losing some key personnel in the summer, Fulham have made a bright start to the campaign and they were always likely to struggle in their recent games against the reigning champions and Unai Emery's Villa.

Fulham have only failed to score against Manchester United this season and there is no shame in that, considering it came on the opening night of the campaign and they were away from home.

Since then, Marco Silva's team have clicked into gear and are looking threatening in every game they play in.

Everton have scored five goals in four games to climb the table and they will fancy their chances of scoring against a Cottagers side that have shipped six goals in two matches.
