Europa League draw: Roma face Feyenoord for place in last 16

Jose Mourinho's Roma have beaten Feyenoord in each of the last two seasons

Roma will meet Feyenoord in the Europa League knockout round play-offs.

The duo face off in Europe for the third consecutive campaign as they bid to seal a place in the last 16 of the competition.

Jose Mourinho's side conquered their Dutch counterparts in the inaugural Europa Conference League final in 2022 before beating them again in last season's Europa League quarter-final.

Whoever wins the tie could face Liverpool, West Ham or Brighton, who qualified automatically for the last 16 after topping their respective groups.

The pick of the other play-off ties sees 2022-23 Champions League semi-finalists AC Milan take on Rennes.

Milan have never won the Europa League, having dropped down to Europe's secondary competition after finishing third in their Champions League group.

Galatasaray, who finished above Manchester United in their Champions League pool, have a two-legged tie against Slavia Prague.

Ajax have a potentially tricky path in their efforts to reach the Europa Conference League last 16 as they face Bodo/Glimt in the play-offs.

The Dutch giants finished third in their Europa League group and will now have to beat the Norwegian side for their European campaign to continue this season.

Winners in the Conference League knockout round play-offs will be paired against the eight teams who finished top in the group stage, which include Premier League Aston Villa.

LaLiga side Real Betis have been drawn against Dinamo Zagreb, while 2021-22 Europa League champions Eintracht Frankfurt clash with Union Saint-Gilloise.
