Recommended bets:
Scotland to go out in the round of 16
Scott McTominay to score most goals in the competition for the team

Having qualified for back-to-back European Championship for the first time since the 1990s, Scotland are preparing for Euro 2024 in Germany this summer.

Winning games against the likes of Spain, Norway, Georgia and Cyprus in their qualifying group, head coach Steve Clarke and his side have shown they can mix it with most sides on their day.

Now the challenge will be performing on the big stage and trying to secure that elusive first knockout place at a major tournament.

Scotland to go out in the round of 16 - 7/4

Scotland find themselves in a challenging group that includes hosts Germany, Hungary and Switzerland.

Starting with a clash against hosts Germany in Munich in their opening game, the Scots head to Cologne to face Switzerland, before their final Group A game against Hungary in Stuttgart.

Germany are the understandable favourites to finish top of the pile and Scotland will likely have to battle it out for a runners-up spot or one of the highest-ranked third-place finishes to qualify for the round of 16.

With the likes of skipper Andrew Robertson, Scott McTominay and John McGinn established players in the Premier League, Scotland have a core group playing at the top level.

If Scotland can secure a win against either Switzerland or Hungary, they will put themselves in with a chance of making the last 16.

The Scots look capable of finally qualifying for the knockout stages but, with the level of opposition they would likely face in the round of 16, the Tartan Army’s time in Germany might well end there.

Scott McTominay to score most goals for the team - 6/1

One player who has emerged as a real talisman for his country in recent years, McTominay was a key figure in helping Scotland reach Euro 2024.

The Manchester United midfielder was the top goalscorer for Scotland in qualifying, with the 27-year-old finding the back of the net seven times in eight games.

Scotland’s second-highest goalscorer in qualifying was Aston Villa star McGinn, who notched up three goals over the qualifying campaign.

The Scots have been short of firepower up front, meaning many of their goals have had to come from midfield.

Seemingly able to get himself in the right place at the right time, McTominay looks to be great value to finish as Scotland’s highest goalscorer at Euro 2024.
