The Battle of Britain takes place at Wembley this evening as England and Scotland collide.

But also keep an eye out for Sweden's clash with Slovakia and Croatia's showdown with the Czech Republic.

As ever, we have rounded up the best of the transfer rumours concerning the nations in action today.

White bid rejected

Arsenal's £40million offer for England and Brighton centre-back Ben White has been rejected.

White, 23, was a late inclusion in Gareth Southgate’s 26-man squad after Trent Alexander-Arnold was forced to withdraw due to injury.

The classy defender shone for the Seagulls in 2020-21 before making his Three Lions debut against Austria in a pre-Euro 2020 friendly.

Whether the Gunners return with a second offer for the ball-playing ace remains to be seen.

Will Alexander Kop a move?

Sweden might not have had many opportunities — or much of the ball — in their goalless draw with Spain but Real Sociedad striker Alexander Isak impressed.

And that could well explain why the 21-year-old is being linked with Liverpool.

Isak netted 17 times in LaLiga last season and Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is reportedly ‘monitoring the situation’ this summer as he looks to beef up his striking options.

Crossing the Mersey

England centre-back and former Liverpool youngster Conor Coady is a surprise target for Everton.

Coady, 28, has been a mainstay at the heart of the Wolves defence since the club returned to the Premier League, earning him five England caps.

Comfortable at the heart of a three-man defensive line, Coady had been linked with the Toffees ahead of Nuno Espirito Santo’s expected appointment at Goodison Park.

But current frontrunner Rafa Benitez is also expected to give the deal the green light should he be hired by the Toffees.

United Tripp up

Kieran Trippier was a surprise inclusion at left-back for England’s win over Croatia and now he is attracting Premier League interest.

Manchester United have reportedly seen an opening offer for the 30-year-old turned down as Atletico Madrid are holding out for £35m.

Trippier cost Atleti £20m when he signed in the summer of 2019 and has excelled in Spain, playing a major role in last season’s LaLiga title win.

Alioski replacement?

Leeds are preparing for the loss of Ezgjan Alioski by eyeing a deal for Rangers left-back Borna Barisic.

The 28-year-old Croatian has excelled for the Gers since arriving from Osijek in 2018 and was linked with Roma last year.

Barisic was left out of Croatia’s matchday squad at Wembley as England triumphed on matchday one.

Coach Zlatko Dalic explained “problems in the last 10 days” were the reason for his absence.

Czech-ing trio out

West Ham boss David Moyes and co-owner David Sullivan were reportedly in the crowd at Hampden Park to watch the Czech Republic’s 2-0 win over Scotland.

The Hammers already have two Czech aces in their squad — Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal — but midfielder Alex Kral, forward Adam Hlozek and defender David Zima have all been linked recently.
