The European Championship group stage is in full flow — and a host of players involved are already the subject of intense transfer speculation.

Tournament action is a great way for footballers to enhance their value and reputation, so there is certain to be some big-money moves taking place off the back of Euro 2020 this summer.

Here are some of the best transfer stories featuring stars from today’s games in Group D and Group E as Scotland face the Czech Republic, Poland tackle Slovakia and Spain meet Sweden.

Scottish stars

Scotland kick off their Euro 2020 campaign today and former Celtic boss Neil Lennon believes Arsenal left-back Kieran Tierney is good enough to play under Pep Guardiola at Manchester City one day.

He said: "I could see him going to City, he’s got all the tools to play for them.

"He’s maybe not got the all-rounded left foot that Andy [Robertson] has, that natural whip, but he’s got everything else and he sees things. He’s so athletic and powerful."

Tierney's Scotland team-mate Ryan Christie could also be on the move.

His Celtic contract runs out next summer, meaning the Bhoys’ opportunities to sell the midfielder are quickly diminishing — and Southampton are keen on his services.

Lewandowski chase

Not content with his existing forward options, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is reportedly considering an offer for Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski.

However, the Blues will face stiff competition from Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Manchester City, who are all interested in the Poland international with just two years left on his contract.

Lewandowski, 32, almost signed for Real in 2014 but after seven goal-laden seasons with Bayern, the Polish goal machine is ready for a new challenge.

Premier League-bound?

David de Gea’s tussle for the No1 shirt with Dean Henderson will likely see one of them leave Old Trafford.

Manchester United will reportedly use the Spain goalkeeper as leverage to make a swap deal with Atletico Madrid for Slovakian stopper Jan Oblak.

Meanwhile, the Atleti goalkeeper’s team-mate Saul Niguez is the subject of interest from Juventus, Chelsea and United.

Elsewhere in Group D, Slovakia’s Milan Skriniar could be Tottenham's first purchase of the transfer window following Fabio Paratici's appointment as managing director of football.

The defender, who has previously been linked with a move to the Premier League, starred as Inter Milan won the Serie A title in 2020-21.

Finally, Sweden sensation Alexander Isak is wanted by Mikel Arteta to bolster Arsenal’s attack, with Eddie Nketiah set to leave the Emirates Stadium.

The Real Sociedad forward, 21, scored 17 times in 30 LaLiga starts last season.
