Enzo sets sights sky high as he targets title glory with Chelsea
Enzo Fernandez has set his sights on Premier League glory with Chelsea this season.
After joining in January, the World Cup winner endured a disappointing start to life at Stamford Bridge as the Blues limped home in 12th place.
But with fellow Argentine Mauricio Pochettino now at the helm, Enzo is confident his club's new-look squad can get their hands on the biggest prize in English football this time around.
Speaking to Chelsea's official website, Enzo said: "The main aim this year is to win the Premier League.
"Now we have a new head coach, you have to say the expectations of us have changed.
"Obviously, when I arrived, everything was difficult. There were lots of changes going on and everything happened so fast for me.
"We want to be an aggressive team that attacks and defends well, that goes into every game to win it, no matter the opposition.
"We want to dominate every game we're in."
Chelsea kick off their league campaign at home to Liverpool on Sunday.
While star signing Christopher Nkunku is unlikely to feature for several months due to injury, Pochettino's men are full of confidence after an impressive pre-season tour of the United States.
And Enzo, 22, is clearly enjoying working under his compatriot.
He added: "Having an Argentine coach is much easier for me. Chatting to him, it's very important.
"It's another way to connect because I still don't speak English perfectly, so speaking to him in Spanish is much easier.
"It helps my confidence and it's a better relationship. It also has a big impact on my confidence.
"It's very important for me that Pochettino has come in — for me and my team-mates. He's going to be very important for us."
