Danny Ormerod scored a stoppage-time equaliser for Fylde to draw 2-2 with Eastleigh.

The Spitfires came close in the opening seconds when Scott Quigley’s strike was saved by Ben Winterbottom and the goalkeeper made another good stop to deny Tyrese Shade.

Fylde had a great opportunity when Ethan Mitchell’s header was cleared before Charlie Jolley’s curling strike broke the deadlock in first-half stoppage-time.

Eastleigh responded in the 54th minute when Shade smashed a curling strike into the corner before Jon Ustabasi nearly sent Fylde back in front minutes later when his header flashed wide.

Shade bagged his brace in the 78th minute with a low finish into the bottom corner, but Fylde snatched a late point after Ormerod found the net from Nick Haughton’s cross in the sixth minute of stoppage time.
