Manchester City will host Chelsea in the semi-finals of the Conti Cup in a repeat of the 2022 final.

Sitting second and first in the Women's Super League, the two teams will do battle for a place in the showpiece at Molineux next month.

Aston Villa will take on the winners of the rearranged tie between London City Lionesses and Arsenal in the other semi.

Chelsea were the big winners in this week's quarter-finals, thrashing Sunderland 5-0 with braces from Sjoeke Nusken and Fran Kirby.

Aggie Beever-Jones netted the other goal as the Blues marched on towards silverware in Emma Hayes' final season at the club, with a quadruple still possible.

City, meanwhile, progressed to the final four as Yui Hasegawa scored in a 1-0 win at Tottenham.

Villa earned their spot in the semi-finals via a penalty shootout win at Brighton after a 1-1 draw across 120 minutes of action.

Carla Ward's side were docked three points during the group stage for fielding an ineligible player but still progressed to the knockout phase.

Championship side London City Lionesses and Arsenal will meet on Wednesday after a waterlogged pitch saw their tie postponed.

No team other than City, Arsenal and Chelsea have won any of the 12 previous editions of the competition.

This season's semi-final ties will be played on March 6 and 7, with the final set to take place at the home of Premier League side Wolves on March 31.
