Connor McBride fired a stoppage-time winner to clinch Rochdale a 1-0 win at Yeovil.

The former Blackburn winger, signed last month after his release from Gateshead, struck his first goal for Dale in the first minute of added time, curling a shot into the bottom corner.

Yeovil looked set to secure a hard-earned point thanks to some key saves from their on-loan Southampton goalkeeper Ollie Wright.

Wright kept out a first-half effort from Kairo Mitchell and denied Sam Beckwith with another crucial save in the second period.

Yeovil’s best chance came in the eighth minute when Rochdale goalkeeper Luke McNicholas saved from Charlie Cooper before Aaron Jarvis’ header was cleared off the goal-line.
