Sheffield Wednesday vs Leeds (Friday, 8pm)
It has been a case of the sublime to the ridiculous for Sheffield Wednesday this season, as they followed up a 4-0 home win over Plymouth with a defeat by the same margin at Sunderland last time out. Leeds have drawn their opening two league fixtures but are among the promotion favourites.
Score prediction: Sheffield Wednesday 1-1 Leeds
Bristol City vs Coventry (Saturday, 12:30pm)
Bristol City host Coventry for the second time this season after the Sky Blues won 1-0 at Ashton Gate in the Carabao Cup. That game lacked goals, but both these sides were involved in high-scoring contests last time out and there could be plenty of action in the final third.
Score prediction: Bristol City 3-2 Coventry
Hull vs Millwall (Saturday, 12:30pm)
Including friendlies, Hull are without a win in 11 matches, but they have drawn their opening two league games of the season 1-1. Millwall have yet to pick up a point this season but did claim a result away at Portsmouth in the cup.
Score prediction: Hull 1-1 Millwall
QPR vs Plymouth (Saturday, 12:30pm)
QPR have won three of their last five home matches in the Championship and are hosting a Plymouth team that triumphed only three times on the road last term. Wayne Rooney's side also lost their only away match of this season 4-0 at Sheff Wed.
Score prediction: QPR 2-0 Plymouth
Blackburn vs Oxford (Saturday, 3pm)
Blackburn are unbeaten and have scored 12 goals across their three games in league and cup this season, but they also concede plenty and Oxford, who were edged in a five-goal contest at Coventry last time out, can contribute to an entertaining game.
Score prediction: Blackburn 3-1 Oxford
Middlesbrough vs Portsmouth (Saturday, 3pm)
Middlesbrough have lost only one of their last seven home matches but will be hosting a Portsmouth side that were beaten just twice on the road last season on their way to the League One title. John Mousinho's side have also drawn their opening two league games back in the second tier.
Score prediction: Middlesbrough 0-0 Portsmouth
Norwich vs Sheffield United (Saturday, 3pm)
It has been a tough start to the season for Norwich, who have conceded at least two goals in each of their games across league and cup. After throwing away a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 with QPR last time out, Sheffield United will be determined to return to winning ways.
Score prediction: Norwich 1-3 Sheffield United
Preston vs Luton (Saturday, 3pm)
New Preston boss Paul Heckingbottom has his work cut out galvanising a side that has lost seven Championship games in a row without scoring. Luton have made a slow start to life back in the second tier but should start picking up wins sooner rather than later.
Score prediction: Preston 0-2 Luton
Stoke vs West Brom (Saturday, 3pm)
Stoke have won their last three Championship home games and are unbeaten in five league matches on their own patch. West Brom did win away on the opening weekend of the season, but their form on the road was patchy last term.
Score prediction: Stoke 1-0 West Brom
Sunderland vs Burnley (Saturday, 3pm)
Sunderland registered their first home win in the Championship since February last time out against Sheffield Wednesday but will face a much sterner test against a Burnley side that have won both of their matches this season, scoring nine goals in the process.
Score prediction: Sunderland 1-3 Burnley
Watford vs Derby (Saturday, 3pm)
Watford have made a flying start to the season, registering three wins and scoring 11 goals. Derby conceded four in their last away match at Blackburn and may struggle to get anything from their trip to Vicarage Road.
Score prediction: Watford 2-0 Derby
Swansea vs Cardiff (Sunday, 3pm)
Cardiff need a response after last week's thrashing at Burnley, but Swansea have won six of their last eight games at home, including both matches at the Swansea.com Stadium this season. The Swans have also won three on the bounce on home soil against their South Wales rivals without conceding.
Score prediction: Swansea 2-0 Cardiff
