Burnley to win to nil

Burnley picked up a brilliant 2-1 win at Norwich last Sunday and can record another victory when they host Watford on Saturday.

The Clarets are unbeaten at home (W5, D5) and have conceded just three times in those 10 games.

Visitors Watford have avoided defeat in their last six but while they have recorded eight victories at Vicarage Road, the Hornets have triumphed just twice on the road and could struggle again.

Team news

Scott Parker's success has been despite a significant injury list, with Manuel Benson (calf/Achilles) and Jordan Beyer (knee) among those out but in contention to return before the end of the year.

Aaron Ramsey should return in January from a long-term knee injury and Jeremy Sarmiento (head injury) and Hannes Delcroix (adductor) could be in contention on Saturday.

Watford are still expected to be without Jeremy Ngakia (knock) and Tom Dele-Bashiru (knee).

Burnley are unbeaten at home and have kept six clean sheets in their last seven at Turf Moor.

The Clarets start the weekend third in the table on 41 points, seven better off than the Hornets, who sit seventh but have played a game fewer.

Tom Cleverley's side have won eight times at home but won just twice away, drawing on two occasions and losing the other six.

Watford have won just once at Turf Moor since 2004, a run of 14 games.

Prediction

Parker's less-than-progressive tactics mean he is not always popular, even with his own fans, but his record speaks for itself, having previously guided both Fulham and Bournemouth to promotion from the Championship.

Former England teammate Cleverley is more flamboyant in how he sets his side up but that does leave them open and they have failed to keep a clean sheet on the road.

Burnley, meanwhile, have recorded seven shutouts in 10 games and are expected to keep things tight, with another case of 'no' in the Both Teams to Score market available at 8/11 with LiveScore Bet.

The Clarets are expected to stick to their blueprint of keeping things tight before taking whatever chances come their way and another victory without conceding looks the way to go.
