- Arsenal have collected 44 points from 18 home league matches
- Everton have won just once at the Emirates in 18 attempts
- Recommended bet: Arsenal to win and over 3.5 goals

Arsenal have taken the Premier League title race to the final day of the campaign and they will not let up in their pursuit of the trophy when welcoming Everton to the Emirates on Sunday.

The Gunners find themselves second in the table heading into the last round of fixtures, two points behind Manchester City, who are one goal worse off than Mikel Arteta's side.

Team news

Arsenal star Bukayo Saka has been passed fit despite coming off in the win against Man Utd last time out and he is expected to be named in what could be an unchanged starting XI.

Jurrien Timber could be involved in the matchday squad after recovering from a knee injury that has kept him out since the opening weekend of the campaign.

Everton could welcome back Andre Gomes after a facial injury, but Jack Harrison, Vitalii Mykolenko, Dele Alli and Nathan Patterson are all unavailable.

Sean Dyche will no doubt be pleased to see a difficult season for Everton coming to an end.

The stats

Liverpool (45) are the only team to have taken more points at home than Arsenal (44) this season.

The Gunners have scored 89 league goals, second to Man City (93), but Arteta's troops boast the best defensive record in the division with just 28 strikes conceded.

With Arsenal one goal better off than the Citizens, a victory for the Gunners and a draw for City on the last day would see the title heading to north London.

Everton have failed to win any of their last 11 away matches in all competitions, having last triumphed on the road against Burnley in mid-December.

The Toffees have picked up just one win from 18 trips to the Emirates, losing 13 and drawing the other four contests.

Prediction

If Arsenal want to be celebrating title glory on Sunday evening, they need to defeat Everton and hope City fail to claim three points at home to West Ham.

Anything less than a win will not be enough for the Gunners, but they should be able to play their part on the final of the campaign by ousting an Everton team who have been dreadful on the road.

The Emirates has been a happy home for Arsenal, who have won 14 of their 18 league assignments and have seen over 3.5 goals land in eight of those victories.

Arteta knows his side needs to put some pressure on the Citizens and there is no better way to do that than racking up a few goals, especially if they can strike early into the match.

The urgency for goals could leave Arsenal open to the counter and Everton will fancy their chances of scoring, something they have achieved in four of their last six away outings.

While the Gunners should have no problem getting the win, it ultimately may prove in vain in their bid for top honours.
