Football clubs around the world will be monitoring the contract situation of some of the game's best players. 

There are a wide range of stars whose contracts expire in the summer and clubs from other countries are already free to negotiate a deal to sign them. 

Here is a star-studded team featuring names who could all be on the move for nothing.

Goalkeeper: Alex Meret (Napoli)

Italy international Alex Meret was a member of Napoli's title-winning team and remains their first-choice goalkeeper. 

While the club have an option to extend his contract, the 26-year-old could have other offers. 

Right-back: Leonardo Spinazzola (Roma)

Right-footed full-back Leonardo Spinazzola can play on either flank and stood out as one of Italy's top performers when they won Euro 2020. 

At 30 years old, this is a final chance to get a big move. 

Left-back: Mario Hermoso (Atletico Madrid)

Occupying a full-back role in our team though normally a centre-back is Mario Hermoso. 

The versatility of the left-footed 28-year-old is bound to appeal to clubs. 

Centre-back: Tosin Adarabioyo (Fulham)

As a central defender with Premier League experience who is still only 26 years old, Tosin Adarabioyo will have plenty of options. 

Tottenham were interested in him last summer. 

Centre-back: Tiago Djalo (Lille)

Lille centre-back Tiago Djalo looks set for a big move this summer. 

Inter are said to be leading the chase for the 23-year-old, with Juventus also interested. 

Defensive midfielder: Guido Rodriguez (Real Betis)

Holding midfielder Guido Rodriguez was part of Argentina's victorious World Cup winning squad in 2022 and seems certain to leave Real Betis at the end of the season. 

Central midfielder: Piotr Zielinski (Napoli)

Piotr Zielinski was a key member of Napoli's title-winning team last season. 

Liverpool are said to be leading the chase for the Polish midfielder, though there is also interest from within Serie A. 

Central midfielder: Adrien Rabiot (Juventus)

Another top Serie A midfielder who could be on the move is Adrien Rabiot. 

The French international is still only 28 and if Juventus cannot persuade him to stay, a big move is on the cards. 

Right wing: Felipe Anderson (Lazio)

Juventus have been linked with signing Felipe Anderson. 

Aston Villa are also said to be interested in bringing the Brazilian right winger back to the Premier League. 

Left wing: Pablo Fornals (West Ham)

There has been talk of West Ham trying to sell Pablo Fornals in January but he may hold out for a lucrative free transfer. 

Napoli and a return to his native Spain with Sevilla are said to be options. 

Striker: Kylian Mbappe (Paris Saint-Germain)

The biggest name available is undoubtedly Kylian Mbappe. 

It looks as if he will leave Paris Saint-Germain, though that seemed to be the case last season. Real Madrid are pushing hard to sign him.
