Concluding with the Rome derby in Serie A, we have picked out five teams worth backing across Europe's biggest leagues this weekend. The five-fold pays out at 49/1 with LiveScore Bet.

Saturday, 4pm

Everything about Reims this season has been mediocre, with Luka Elsner's men starting 2025 in 10th position in Ligue 1 with five wins, five draws and five defeats to their name.

A lack of goals has hindered their progress as winger Keito Nakamura is their top scorer with just six goals, but they have been solid at the back and have enough about them to see off Saint-Etienne.

With 10 defeats from their 15 games, Saint-Etienne occupy the relegation playoff spot in Ligue 1 and could only dream of being where Reims are, so the mid-table side are worth backing to win.

Saturday, 5pm

Fiorentina have been one of the surprise packages in Serie A this season, emerging as prime contenders for the top four, but La Viola have slipped up a little recently.

The club from Florence finished last year winless in their final four matches, losing to the likes of Bologna and Udinese.

With that in mind, they should be opposed when they face title-chasing Napoli, who reeled off wins over Udinese, Genoa and Venezia to finish 2024.

Saturday, 7.45pm

Hellas Verona are in the relegation mix as the halfway point in the Serie A season approaches and they could be nudged closer to the danger zone by Udinese.

Stationed in the top half, Udinese picked up wins against Monza and Fiorentina on the road in December and they can chalk up another away victory in this one.

Sunday, 2pm

Will Still will be pretty pleased with the job he is doing at Lens, who are in contention to make the top six and beyond this season.

If they are to qualify for the European places, winning this kind of fixture will be key, given that Toulouse are just a couple of places below them.

Lens finished the year with seven points from their last three league fixtures before they took PSG to penalties in the French Cup and they should have enough about them to win this contest.

Roma have turned their fortunes around under Claudio Ranieri ahead of the clash with Lazio

Sunday, 7.45pm

The Stadio Olimpico plays host to the game of the weekend in Serie A as capital rivals Roma lock horns with Lazio.

Roma showed some promise under veteran boss Claudio Ranieri towards the end of 2024, thumping Sampdoria 4-1 in the Coppa Italia and Parma 5-0 in the league.

They followed those wins with a respectable draw away to Milan and are worth a bet to beat rivals Lazio, who were hammered 6-0 by Inter Milan recently.
