- Spurs have won their last five home PL games with both teams scoring in last two
- Bournemouth have scored in three of their last four away league trips
- Recommended Bet: Back Tottenham Win and Both to score

Tottenham can take back a place in the top four, for 24 hours at least, if they overcome a Bournemouth side battling the drop in Saturday's Premier League clash at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Cristian Stellini's side won a controversial home clash against Brighton last Saturday to make it five league wins in a row at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The Italian was sent to the stands after a huge commotion near the dugouts, but has been spared from a touchline ban this weekend.

Gary O'Neil's Cherries, meanwhile, will bid to improve a woeful away record against Spurs and build on last weekend's solid winning display against Leicester.

Team news

Rodrigo Bentancur (knee), Emerson Royal (knee), Ryan Sessegnon (hamstring), Ben Davies (hamstring) and Yves Bissouma (ankle) all remain out for Spurs.

Lucas Moura serves the second of a three-game ban following his recent red card at Everton.

But no changes are expected in Stellini's line-up with Heung-Min Son, Dejan Kulusevski and Harry Kane tipped to keep Richarlison on the bench.

Bournemouth boss O'Neil is sweating over the fitness of Marcos Senesi (thigh) and Hamed Traore (ankle), who missed out at the King Power Stadium last weekend.

Dango Ouattara was replaced seven minutes before half-time at Leicester, but the substitution was purely tactical and the former Lorient man could still be in the starting line-up on Saturday.

Ryan Fredericks (calf) and Junior Stanislas remain unavailable.

The stats

After losing four of their previous five at home, Spurs have now won five in a row in North London.

Tottenham have also won all five of their previous home Premier League games against Bournemouth.

But, following their 1-0 win at Leicester last time out, the Cherries are looking to win back-to-back top-flight away games for the first time since October 2018.

Tottenham's Harry Kane has scored in 20 different Premier League games this season, more than any other player and his most ever in a season, 19 being his previous best in 2017-18.

Heung-Min Son became the first-ever Asian and second player for Spurs to score 100 Premier League goals when he registered in the 2-1 win over Brighton last weekend.

Prediction

Two of Bournemouth's top three xG differentials in the Premier League have come within the last three games with O'Neil's side dominant in their wins at home to Fulham and at Leicester.

So they will head to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with some confidence and possibly even a greater license to attack in a match that arrives prior to three crucial fixtures against direct relegation rivals.

An improved attacking efficiency and more ambition shown with the team shape and deployment will give Bournemouth a good shot at claiming a goal at the very least on Saturday.

Spurs are regularly becoming embroiled in games where chances are prevalent at both ends, which indicates this could be a fifth straight occasion where both teams are on the scoresheet.

But they are also much more capable of scoring multiple times than the visitors, who have scored more than once in only four of 15 previous Premier League road assignments.
