The joy Sheffield Wednesday felt when they gained promotion to the Championship in May now seems a distant memory as the Owls have endured a miserable first few months back in the second tier.

They are already ten points adrift from safety and things are unlikely to get much better when they get a visit from Leicester on Wednesday.

There was shock at the Foxes surprise relegation last season, but they look to be making light work of getting back in the big time, even if they had to recover from defeats to Leeds and Middlesbrough with a win over Watford on Saturday.

They conceded in victories at Wednesday’s fellow strugglers Rotherham - the only team the Owls have beaten - and QPR, but it is difficult to see the home side laying a glove on them as they have failed to score in five of their eight Hillsborough games this season.

The Foxes may have got their slip-up out of their system and with Jamie Vardy back among the goals in the 2-0 success over the Hornets at the weekend, that spells trouble for the struggling Yorkshire outfit.
