There are Premier League matches spread out over Friday, Saturday and Sunday this weekend, with Arsenal's home clash against Liverpool the standout fixture when two of the expected title challengers go head-to-head on Sunday.

We preview all 10 games and have a score prediction for each.

Leicester vs Nottingham Forest (Friday, 8pm)

An East Midlands derby gets the ball rolling in the Premier League this weekend on Friday evening and it is likely to be a keenly-fought clash at the King Power Stadium.

Forest have exceeded expectations so far, picking up 13 points to sit up in eighth place, while Leicester have also begun well and come into the game on the back of two victories over Bournemouth and Southampton.

Aston Villa vs Bournemouth (Saturday, 3pm)

Villa have been outstanding so far this season and will be on a high for Saturday's home game with Bournemouth after they moved top of the Champions League on Tuesday thanks to a 2-0 win over Bologna.

Unai Emery's side have lost just once in all competitions and they should secure another victory when they face a Cherries outfit that has lost their last two top-flight away matches without scoring.

Brentford vs Ipswich (Saturday, 3pm)

Brentford should have too much for an Ipswich team that is increasingly finding things difficult in the Premier League.

Town are yet to win this season following promotion and they are facing a Bees side that has won three of their four home games.

Brighton vs Wolves (Saturday, 3pm)

This is another tough test for winless Wolves, who look set to be on the end of a disappointing result on the south coast.

Brighton have beaten Tottenham and Newcastle in their last two outings and they should do the business again when they take on Gary O'Neil's strugglers.

Score prediction: Brighton 3-1 Wolves

Manchester City vs Southampton (Saturday, 3pm)

There is a concern this could get ugly, and quickly, for Southampton. Russell Martin's men threw away a 2-0 lead at home when losing to Leicester last weekend and they can ill-afford to be as generous at the Etihad.

Expect a routine home win.

Everton vs Fulham (Saturday, 5.30pm)

There is no doubt there is a more optimistic feeling around Everton after their initial problems at the start of the campaign.

Now on a run of four games without defeat, the Toffees can pick up another solid point against Fulham, who have impressed at times under former Blues boss Marco Silva this term.

Chelsea vs Newcastle (Sunday, 2pm)

Chelsea played well for large periods in last weekend's 2-1 defeat at Liverpool and they will attempt to dominate possession against a Newcastle team that has been hard to pin down this season.

The Magpies have failed to win any of their last four in the league and could be on the end of a narrow defeat at Stamford Bridge too.

Crystal Palace vs Tottenham (Sunday, 2pm)

Palace's problems have been well documented this season, although it has been something of a surprise just how poor the Eagles have been – they are yet to win in the league – after Oliver Glasner's side had, in contrast, finished last term so well.

This is a difficult game against a Spurs side that were ruthless when dispatching West Ham 4-1 at home last week and the visitors can extend Palace's shocking run of form.

West Ham vs Manchester United (Sunday, 2pm)

West Ham were poor when losing 4-1 at Tottenham last weekend and things could be about to get worse for Julen Lopetegui's side when they entertain the Red Devils, who edged out Brentford 2-1 at home in their most recent league fixture.

Score prediction: West Ham 0-1 Manchester United

Arsenal vs Liverpool (Sunday, 4.30pm)

The game of the weekend sees the Gunners host the Reds after both sides secured narrow 1-0 wins in the Champions League in midweek.

Liverpool take on an Arsenal side who are without key men William Saliba and Martin Odegaard, while Bukayo Saka, Riccardo Calafiori and Jurrien Timber are major doubts, so the visitors can take advantage by sealing a statement victory to make it 12 wins out of 13 in all competitions this season.
