The Premier League is set to be significantly impacted by the latest edition of the Africa Cup of Nations.

Ivory Coast will host the 24-team tournament, which kicks off on January 13 and runs until February 11.

With all the big hitters set to take part — including defending champions Senegal, Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon, Morocco, Algeria and Mali — clubs in the English top flight could be deprived of key figures.

LiveScore run you through all the Premier League players who may be heading to the international showpiece.

Which teams will be most affected?

Champions Manchester City and Newcastle are the only two teams with no players potentially travelling to AFCON early next year.

Nottingham Forest could lose as many as seven first-teamers, with star striker Awoniyi and summer signing Sangare set to be the biggest losses for Steve Cooper.

The temporary departures of Amrabat and Onana will be a source of concern for Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag, while Salah's Egypt commitments will leave a significant void in Liverpool's attack.

But it is perhaps Brentford manager Thomas Frank who will be most worried, as the Dane is set to lose both Wissa and Mbeumo — his two most important offensive weapons in Ivan Toney's absence.

Toney is allowed to return to action on January 17 but he will be short of match fitness and is also being linked with a mid-season move to either Chelsea or Arsenal.

The Gunners themselves are primed to lose key midfielder Partey to AFCON, although Declan Rice's fine start to life at the Emirates softens that blow.
