- Leicester have won all of their five away games this season
- The Foxes have won five of their last seven fixtures against Norwich
- Recommended bet: Leicester to win

Leicester have dispelled the notion of a relegation hangover by winning five of their opening six Championship fixtures and they will target another maximum haul when they take on Norwich at Carrow Road.

The Foxes should anticipate a stern test against the Canaries, who moved into fourth place after a 1-0 weekend win at home to Stoke.

Norwich are three points better off than they were at the same stage of last season and they will be eager to test themselves against the title favourites.

However, Leicester were impressive 4-1 winners away to Southampton last Friday and are heading to East Anglia brimming with confidence.

Team news

Norwich continue to battle on without key attacker Josh Sargent, who sustained a serious ankle injury in last month's 4-0 victory away to Huddersfield.

Midfielder Marcelino Nunez is set to miss out with an ankle injury but left back Dimitris Giannoulis (thigh) could return to contention.

Grant Hanley (Achilles), Jacob Sorensen (groin), and Borja Sainz (ankle) remain absent.

Leicester manager Enzo Maresca may be reluctant to make changes after watching his team win 4-1 at Southampton last Friday.

Tom Cannon and Dennis Praet (both back) are still sidelined.

The stats

Norwich are looking to maintain their 100 percent home record having taken nine points from three games at Carrow Road.

The Canaries have scored in every one of their eight matches this season and have kept clean sheets in three of their last four fixtures.

Leicester are bidding for a sixth-successive away win after three victories in the Championship and two in the EFL Cup.

The Foxes have won five of their last seven matches against Norwich and completed a double over the Canaries during the 2021-22 Premier League season.

Prediction

Leicester had a spring in their step after Friday's superb 4-1 success away to Southampton and they can keep the feelgood factor going with a victory over Norwich at Carrow Road.

The Foxes would have been steeling themselves for a couple of tough tests after the international break but they passed the first of them with flying colours.

A clinical counter-attacking performance was key to seeing off the Saints, who made far too many basic errors.

But Leicester might need to show different qualities against the Canaries, who are among the Championship's early front runners.

Norwich have a reputation for playing attacking football but they are working hard to become a better balanced side and they showed a steely edge last Saturday when winning 1-0 at home to Stoke.

The Canaries are a lot tougher to beat than they were last season and they can look forward to an improvement on 13th place.

However, they may come up slightly short against Leicester, who look attractively priced to make it six wins in seven.
