Manchester City have unveiled a special edition kit and clothing to celebrate the Year of the Wood Dragon. 

Blending 20 years of the Etihad Stadium's history with the vibrancy of the Chinese culture, the PUMA collection features a dragon-inspired jersey, jacket, track pants and T-shirt. 

And the kit will be used for the first time on Wednesday when City's women's team host rivals Manchester United in the Conti Cup.

Marco Mueller, PUMA senior head of product line management teamsport apparel, said: "In designing this collection, we've paid homage to the iconic symbols of strength and endurance that resonate with Manchester City fans — the dragon and the famous Etihad turrets.

The match jersey, which will be flying off shop racks and shelves, features cutting-edge technology to provide optimal performance and comfort on the pitch. 

Engineered with ULTRAWEAVE fabric, it boasts a structured, four-way stretch design to reduce weight and friction, allowing players to move freely and comfortably.

And the dryCELL technology integrated into the fabric is designed to keep the body free from sweat.
