The end of January is coming into sight but there is still some quality jumps racing to come.

They go to post at Wincanton on Wednesday with a six-race card from 1.50pm until 4.20pm at the Somerset track and we have picked five to follow on the day.

1.50pm - racingtv.com/freemonth Mares' Handicap Hurdle (2m5½f)

Electric Annie won here over 2m4f six weeks ago and did so in good style.

Jack Barber's mare returns looking to follow up from 10lb higher in a stronger race but has to be on any shortlist with that effort in mind.

Trump Lady was back on song at Exeter last week and is considered under a penalty but SACRE COEUR just gains the nod.

Jonjo O'Neill's 6YO had twice run well since joining this trainer before last month's trip to Plumpton.

She appeared to be coming with a major challenge that afternoon only to come down three out. A win may be looming.

LiveScore selection: Sacre Coeur

2.20pm - Racing TV Extra Novices' Chase (2m4f)

JAY BEE WHY was quite a promising hurdler last term for Alan King and his two outings this term over fences have offered optimism he will do better in this code.

He was second at Exeter (2m3f, good to soft) on reappearance then third (beaten 20-lengths) in a Cheltenham race won by My Drogo in early December.

This looks less demanding and he shades the verdict over Danny Kirwan for Paul Nicholls.

Pasvolsky took out a Plumpton novice event over a similar trip before Christmas on second start over fences but may need to come forward again to follow up in handicap company.

This is very open, with Kakamora and Luckofthedraw sure to get involved but DORKING LAD has demonstrated fencing ability despite being 0-4 thus far.

He was second behind Luckofthedraw at Fontwell in November but is dramatically better off on these terms.

More recently, he was a silver-medallist at Huntingdon this month and Jamie Moore's mount can break through here.

LiveScore selection: Dorking Lad

3.20pm - Start Your RacingTV Free Trial Now Handicap Chase (3m2½f)

The manner in which FELTON BELLEVUE notched his opening chase success at Hereford (3m1f, good to soft) this month bodes well.

He had earlier posted runner-up efforts at that venue and Market Rasen and looks sure to offer more as a chaser.

He's gone up 5lb for that win 22 days ago but trainer Ben Case will be expectant there's more in his locker.

LiveScore selection: Felton Bellevue

4.20pm - Racing TV Profits Returned To Racing Novices' Hurdle (2m3½f)

GROSVENOR COURT won narrowly over 2m5½f at this track in October for Alan King and then finished second the following month behind Earth Lord, both runs on good ground.

He was attempting to give 7lb to that Philip Hobbs inmate, which was a fair challenge given he won again in December at Ascot and then ran creditably off 133 in this month's Lanzarote Hurdle at Kempton.

This is less demanding on paper, though Abuffalosoldier and the mare Plenty Of Time can make things interesting.

LiveScore selection: Grosvenor Court
