It's a huge day of racing on both sides of the Irish Sea.

In the UK, the St Leger, the final British Classic of the season, features at Doncaster at 3.35pm, while the Irish Champion Stakes is the pick of the action across the water at 2.45pm.

Here are five horses to follow across the two meetings.

LiveScore's Five To Follow at Doncaster and Leopardstown on Saturday

1.40pm Leopardstown - Coolmore America "Justify" Matron Stakes (1m - Group One)

Following victories in the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket and the Group One Prix Rothschild, MOTHER EARTH has established herself as one of the best fillies of her generation.

The daughter of Zoffany is now looking to have success against the older horses.

It has been an excellent campaign from Aidan O'Brien's runner as she has not been out of the frame in all five of her starts, all of which have come at Group One level. She is the one to beat in the Matron Stakes.

2.20pm Doncaster - Champagne Stakes (7f - Group Two)

LUSAIL has been successful twice before in Group Two races so is the only runner in this field who is proven at this level.

His career record reads four wins from five starts, so he has been one of the stand-out two-year-olds this season.

Solario Stakes winner Reach For The Moon should prove strong competition for Richard Hannon's colt in this latest assignment, but he will need to improve again to get the better of the Al Shaqab Racing runner.

2.45pm Leopardstown - Irish Champion Stakes (1m2f - Group 1)

Poetic Flare and St Mark's Basilica have both proved to be talented three-year olds this season and have big futures.

However, they will need to step up here to get the better of the proven TARNAWA.

Over the last 12 months, Dermot Weld's mare has had wins in France, Ireland, and USA, proving to be a real globetrotting star.

The five-year-old is a C&D winner and she can prevail here ahead of a shot at the Arc next month.

3pm Doncaster - Cazoo Park Stakes (7f - Group 2)

This race could end up being a battle between the two Shadwell runners and it is a big clue that Jim Crowley has opted to partner LANEQASH

He would have had the choice of the two horses and he has gone for the younger and most unexposed colt.

Roger Varian's runner showed a lot of promise as a two-year-old, finishing second of 10 at Newbury in a Group Two contest on his opening run of the season last month.

He is likely to step up on that outing and can go one place better this time.

LiveScore Selection: Laneqash

3.35pm Doncaster - Cazoo St Leger Stakes (1m6½f)

HURRICANE LANE is vying for his second Classic success when he lines up in the St Leger.

The Irish Derby winner has got better as the season has progressed, blowing away the field in the Group One Grand Prix de Paris at Longchamp on his last appearance.

The way the son of Frankel has been finishing his races suggests the three-year-old will be able to step up to this distance with ease. Victory here keeps him in the hunt for being the leading horse of his generation at the end of the year.

LiveScore Selection: Hurricane Lane
