Hull City are on the hunt for a new manager and there is an outside chance they will have a boss in place by the time they entertain Blackburn on Saturday, but getting a result against in-form Rovers looks a big ask for the struggling hosts regardless.

The Tigers have picked up just one win in nine attempts at home this season and they come into this fixture seeking to halt a five-match losing run.

Blackburn stunned automatic promotion hopefuls Leeds in the last batch of games to record their third consecutive win, putting Rovers within touching distance of the play-off spots.

Hull have a few injury issues to contend with and Cody Drameh could join the likes of Liam Millar and Mohamed Belloumi on the sidelines for this game after being forced off early in the second half against Middlesbrough last time out.

Scott Wharton and Zak Gilsenan are long-term injury victims for Blackburn boss John Eustace.

Andreas Weimann could miss out again and Todd Cantwell, who scored in the win over Leeds, is also considered a doubt.

Whoever is in charge this weekend, the struggling hosts will find it hard to get any kind of result against an in-form Blackburn side who have hopes of breaking into the play-off places.

Rovers sent out another message last weekend by beating Leeds, backing up a similarly impressive victory at Middlesbrough.

The Lancashire outfit initially struggled on their travels as they picked up just three points from their opening six trips, but they head to Hull after wins at Cardiff and Boro and they can continue their fine form with three points on Saturday irrespective of who is in the opposing dugout.
