Saturday's Premier League Bet Builders: Isak can help Newcastle bounce back
- There are five Premier League games taking place on Saturday
- Crystal Palace have won just one Premier League game this season
- Five of the last six meetings between Arsenal and West Ham have gone over 2.5 goals
Arsenal have been given hope in the Premier League title race by Manchester City’s sudden decline and they have the chance to put pressure on the Citizens and Liverpool, who meet in a blockbuster clash on Sunday when they face West Ham on Saturday night.
Earlier in the day Newcastle will look to get back on track when they visit Crystal Palace.
Crystal Palace vs Newcastle (Saturday, 3pm)
Bet 1: Both teams to score
Newcastle have not been watertight defensively, as proven by their shock 2-0 home loss to West Ham on Monday. Both teams have found the net in eight of the Magpies’ last nine away games in the Premier League and this could be another.
Both teams have found the net in three of Crystal Palace’s last four matches in all competitions.
Bet 2: Newcastle to win
Newcastle were poor in their defeat to West Ham last time out but they could not have asked for a much better opponent to get back on track than to face a struggling Crystal Palace team that have only won one league game all season.
The Magpies had won three on the spin before their loss to the Hammers and can get back to winning ways against a Palace team that was beaten 2-0 by Fulham in their last match at Selhurst Park.
Bet 3: Alexander Isak to score at any time
Alexander Isak has been key to Newcastle’s success since his arrival from Real Sociedad and he has scored in four of his last five matches.
The marksman took six shots against West Ham to show he is at least still getting opportunities and can get back on the scoresheet here.
West Ham vs Arsenal (Saturday, 5.30pm)
Bet 1: Arsenal to win
Arsenal have been much improved since the return of Martin Odegaard, winning back-to-back games against Nottingham Forest and Sporting, scoring eight goals in the process.
They can make it three in a row against a West Ham side that have lost three home games already this term.
Bet 2: Over 2.5 goals
Five of the last six meetings between these two have gone over 2.5 goals and another entertaining affair, particularly with the Gunners having rediscovered their scoring touch, looks to be on the cards.
Bet 3: Jarrod Bowen to score at any time
Jarrod Bowen was the key man in West Ham’s win over Newcastle and he leads West Ham in both shots and goals this season.
Take the England winger to find the net once again on Saturday.
