I enjoyed seeing Manchester City run riot against Manchester United on Sunday afternoon.

And one familiar face from Pep Guardiola's side features in my five stars of Matchday 10 — read on to see who else makes the cut.

Micky van de Ven (Tottenham)

The good times keep on rolling for Tottenham and I thought Micky van de Ven shone once again for the league leaders at Crystal Palace.

Spurs' forwards have taken the plaudits this term but the young Dutch defender has settled in so quickly and already looks a class act.

He's playing next to a World Cup winner in Cristian Romero, which must give him huge confidence, but he's happy to take the lead and defend on the front foot when needed.

Reports have suggested Liverpool were also interested in him but I think the game time and style of play he's thriving in shows he made the correct decision.

Eddie Nketiah (Arsenal)

I find it strange that hat-trick hero Eddie Nketiah is still facing questions over his capabilities to lead Arsenal's line.

He was a more than able deputy for Gabriel Jesus when called upon last season, so I can only presume it's the old curse of being a homegrown talent rather than a glamorous signing.

At the end of the day, when he gets the chance to start, he contributes plenty and scores his fair share of goals. What more do people expect?

The Gunners showed great faith in him with a huge contract extension earlier this year.

And while new centre forwards may join, I expect Nketiah to keep taking his opportunities when Mikel Arteta offers them.

Jarrad Branthwaite (Everton)

Everton have a real talent on their hands in Jarrad Branthwaite, who put in a man-of-the-match display in their win at West Ham.

Not only is he the full package in terms of his attributes but I know first-hand from England duty that Jarrad has a real humble nature and willingness to learn. He has a good head on his shoulders.

That loan spell at PSV Eindhoven brought him on quickly, going out of his comfort zone into a new culture at a club where the expectation to win is so high.

There's going to be plenty of talk around him in the coming months but I think he's mature and sensible enough to block it out and concentrate on his football.

Moussa Diaby (Aston Villa)

Aston Villa are flying and Sunday's hero Moussa Diaby is a player I've been a huge fan of for many years now.

To be honest, I was a bit surprised one of the top four didn't make a move for him because he's direct, he's got blistering pace, he's versatile and he works so hard out of possession.

The fans have taken to him quickly and his performance against Luton was typical of how things are going in the West Midlands.

Villa supporters should be daring to dream. I'm not saying they're going to win the league but they're in fantastic form and are back in Europe.

After some dark days for the club, the Villa faithful deserve to enjoy this period of success.

Erling Haaland (Manchester City)

All of Manchester City's players were exceptional at Old Trafford but I just can't overlook Erling Haaland's contribution.

To the naked eye, it's another two goals on his tally and business as usual — but his movement to get into those areas is so intelligent. That's pure natural talent.

What I also loved is his assist for Phil Foden's goal. He could've easily had a go himself on a hat-trick but he knows what it means for Phil to score in a derby.

That kind of camaraderie is on display throughout this City squad. At times, that can be as crucial as talent when forming a successful team.
