Derby have had the strongest start to the season of all the newly-promoted teams in the Championship and the next test for Paul Warne’s men sees them host Sheffield Wednesday at Pride Park.

Wednesday, meanwhile, have been in patchy form, winning two and losing two of their last five Championship fixtures, but Danny Rohl’s men did come away with a 2-0 win at struggling Hull on Tuesday and should provide stern competition to the hosts.

Paul Warne has just a handful of injury issues affecting his squad selection on Sunday, with David Ozoh and Ryan Nyambe the only expected absentees in the treatment room.

Jerry Yates is once again available for selection after missing the meeting with his parent club Swansea last time out, while Nathaniel Mendez-Laing should keep his spot up front after scoring in that encounter.

Danny Rohl on the other hand will be without as many as four different first team players for this contest after defender Di’Shon Bernanrd picked up his fifth yellow card of the season last time out.

His suspension means he joins the injured trio of Olaf Kobacki, Akin Famewo and Michael Ihiekwe on the sidelines.
