The long-awaited undisputed heavyweight title clash between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk has been confirmed for February 17.

WBC title-holder Fury, 35, and unified WBA Super, WBO and IBF champion Usyk will finally come to blows in a blockbuster showdown in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

At the London press conference for the show, billed the Ring of Fire, a typically confident Fury said: "Usyk, you can run, but the Gypsy King is coming to get you.

"This is my era and your time is up. Your undefeated record and your belts will be mine!"

Usyk, 36, said: "I have no goal. The only way, and my way, is 'the undisputed'.

"That is why this was the only fight for me. When that bell rings, I will bring the fire."

The duo's clash had been tentatively pencilled in for December 23 prior to Fury's split-decision win over Francis Ngannou last month.

But boxing fans will instead be treated to two blockbuster nights of heavyweight action within a few months, with Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder featuring on a stacked card on that date before Fury and Usyk lock horns in February.

Legendary promoter Frank Warren said: "The whole world of boxing has been waiting for many, many years and they now have this fight.

"For the first time this century, we will have an undisputed heavyweight champion."

Tyson Fury was in confident mood in London ahead of the title fight

Fury was unconvincing in his contentious victory over MMA fighter Ngannou but Top Rank chief Bob Arum has made assurances the Gypsy King will be fit and firing for Usyk.

Ukrainian Usyk retained his unified crown in August 2022 by beating Anthony Joshua for a second time, while he most recently stopped Daniel Dubois three months ago.

Fury ripped the WBC belt from Wilder's grasp in 2020 and retained the gold in a rematch the following year.

Moving on form his memorable trilogy with the American, he defended his title with stoppage wins over Dillian Whyte and Derek Chisora last year.
