Borussia Dortmund are planning to launch a move to re-sign Jadon Sancho in January.

The English winger is currently embroiled in a feud with Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag after being left out of the matchday squad for the 3-1 defeat at Arsenal before the international break.

Sancho, 23, wrote in a social media post that he feels he has been used as a "scapegoat" following claims from the Dutch boss about his poor performances in training.

According to The Sun, Dortmund will prepare an opening offer if the 23-cap international fails to make peace with Ten Hag.

Sancho joined the Bundesliga outfit from Manchester City in August 2017 and quickly established himself as one of the hottest prospects in European football.

Across his four-year stint at Signal Iduna Park, the London-born attacker scored 50 goals from 137 appearances in all competitions and was twice named in the Bundesliga Team of the Season.

Sancho has not enjoyed a similar level of individual success at United, though.

Since joining the Red Devils in July 2021 for a reported fee of £73million, he has failed to nail down a regular starting berth and has scored just 12 goals in 82 matches.
