·  Enzo Fernandez’s move from Benfica to Chelsea for a potential British record fee.

22.55pm — Spurs seal Porro loan

Tottenham have confirmed the capture of Pedro Porro from Sporting Lisbon.

Spurs have been chasing the 23-year-old wing-back for much of January and have finally completed the move less than 10 minutes before the deadline.

Antonio Conte had been keen to add to his right flank and has finally got the man he wanted.

The Spaniard looks set to go straight into the Spurs XI after Matt Doherty and Djed Spence departed North London earlier on deadline day.

10.40pm — Saints agree Onuachu deal

Southampton are poised to bolster their survival hopes with the signing of Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu from Genk, according to Sky Sports.

The Premier League strugglers have reached a full agreement for the 6ft 6in marksman to head to St Mary’s before the transfer deadline.

Onuachu, 28, has scored an impressive 16 goals in 18 appearances for the Belgian club this term, which will be music to the ears of Saints supporters after seeing their side struggle to find the net.

10.20pm — Chelsea make Fernandez breakthrough

Multiple sources are now stating Chelsea’s move for Enzo Fernandez is ON after agreeing a British record £105million fee for the Benfica midfielder.

Publicidad

The two clubs are now racing to complete the paperwork in time for the 11pm deadline for what would become one of the most dramatic deadline-day transfers of recent times.

Having been at loggerheads with Benfica over the fee for the 22-year-old starlet for much of the January window, the Blues look to have finally agreed to pay his full release clause.

All eyes are now on West London to see if they can get the deal done in time!

10.15pm — Eagles land Lokonga

Arsenal midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga has hopped across London to join Crystal Palace on loan until the end of the season.

Having arrived at the Emirates in the summer, Lokonga has made 15 appearances for the Gunners but has not featured in the Premier League for four months.

With Jorginho joining the league leaders from Chelsea earlier this evening, the 23-year-old Belgian has been allowed out to gain more first-team experience with Patrick Vieira’s Eagles.

He is the second capture in quick succession for the South London outfit, who confirmed their signing of Naouirou Ahamada just over an hour ago.

10.05pm — Doherty departs

Tottenham have agreed to mutually terminate the contract of defender Matt Doherty, who has subsequently joined Atletico Madrid.

Publicidad

The Irishman has made 16 appearances for Spurs in all competitions this term, including 11 of their last 14 Premier League games.

However, with the expected imminent arrival of Pedro Porro from Portuguese side Sporting, Doherty’s place in Antonio Conte’s team would have been significantly less assured.

Now, he will work under Diego Simeone and look to help Atleti seal a top-four finish in LaLiga.

Earlier reports had indicated Doherty’s move would be a loan, leaving Spurs fans surprised by the 31-year-old’s permanent departure from North London.

10pm — Bournemouth and Forest complete signings

Relegation strugglers Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth have been two of the busiest clubs on deadline day and both have just confirmed new signings.

The Cherries have announced their sixth arrival of the window with the capture of Ivory Coast international Hamed Traore.

The 22-year-old midfielder has joined from Sassuolo on an initial loan, with the deal becoming permanent in the summer.

Forest have completed their move for Atletico Madrid defender Felipe, 33, who has signed an 18-month contract at the City Ground.

Despite there being just an hour until the window closes, the Tricky Trees are unlikely to be done there!

9.45pm — Toffees fail in Sarr swoop

Ismaila Sarr is wanted by Everton but Watford are holding firm

More woe for Everton on the transfer front with fresh reports suggesting they have failed in a late bid for Watford striker Ismaila Sarr.

The Toffees wanted to take Sarr, 24, on loan for the rest of the season for a £2million fee, with an obligation to make the move permanent for £30m in summer.

However, the Hornets have rebuffed the approach having stressed all month that their prized asset is not for sale.

It is looking set to be another miserable day on the Blue half of Merseyside.

9.15pm — Palace sign Ahamada

Crystal Palace have signed 20-year-old midfielder Naouirou Ahamada from Stuttgart, subject to international clearance.

The France youth international was enjoying an impressive season in Germany’s top flight, starting 17 of Stuttgart’s 18 Bundesliga games, scoring twice and registering two assists.

He has become Palace’s first signing of the January window, with Arsenal’s Albert Sambi Lokonga on his way on loan too.

9pm — Forest set for busy night

Nottingham Forest are poised to be working right up until the 11pm deadline with a host of signings still to be confirmed.

Atletico Madrid defender Felipe looks to be the closest deal to being done at this stage, with the Brazilian passing his medical in the last half an hour.

The Tricky Trees have also made a breakthrough in their efforts to sign Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Keylor Navas, with a verbal agreement over the 36-year-old’s switch reported to have been struck.

Atletico Madrid defender Felipe's move to Nottingham Forest is edging closer

Jonjo Shelvey is in attendance at St James’ Park for Newcastle’s Carabao Cup semi-final tonight but an announcement on his move to the City Ground is also expected before the window slams shut.

That will see midfielder Lewis O’Brien head out the exit door, with the summer signing having a medical at Blackburn, according to Midlands transfer expert John Percy.

8.40pm — Cherries seal fifth January signing

Things are hotting up on deadline day after the third Premier League signing was confirmed in the space of an hour.

Bournemouth have confirmed the capture of Ukraine international Illia Zabarnyi from Dynamo Kyiv.

The 20-year-old central defender has penned a five-year deal at the Vitality Stadium and is the Cherries’ fifth January addition alongside Dango Outtara, Darren Randolph, Antoine Semenyo and Matias Vina.

The South Coast club will hope their raft of faces aid them in their battle against the drop, with Gary O’Neil’s men currently sitting inside the relegation zone in 18th.

8.10pm — Jorginho is a Gunner

Arsenal have officially announced their capture of Jorginho from London rivals Chelsea for a fee of £12million.

The Gunners had hopes of landing Brighton's Moises Caicedo but when the Seagulls refused to budge on their valuation, the 31-year-old Italian was quickly identified as an alternative.

Mikel Arteta has paid tribute to Jorginho's hunger to contribute to Arsenal's title tilt and suggested he will prove a perfect fit for their style of play.

He will wear the No20 shirt at the Emirates.

7.40pm — Cottagers land Lukic

Fulham finally have a new face to shout about after signing Sasa Lukic from Torino.

The Cottagers let fringe stars Nathaniel Chalobah and Josh Onomah join West Brom and Preston respectively earlier today but have now confirmed the capture of Serbian star Lukic.

The 26-year-old has penned a four-and-a-half year deal at Craven Cottage and links up with his international team-mate Aleksandar Mitrovic.

Publicidad

Lukic also has experience in LaLiga with Levante, having started out in his homeland at Partizan Belgrade.

7.20pm — Perez seals Spain return

Plenty of Premier League stars have sealed loan moves on deadline day and Leicester forward Ayoze Perez is the latest to fly the nest.

Perez has joined LaLiga side Real Betis for the rest of the campaign and with his contract at the King Power stadium up this summer, he may have played his last game for the Foxes.

Ayoze Perez has joined Real Betis on loan from Leicester

The 29-year-old Spaniard joined from Newcastle three-and-a-half years ago but has found minutes hard to come by, starting only three times in the top flight this term.

Elsewhere, Southampton youngster Thierry Small, 18, has moved north of the border to join St Mirren on loan.

7pm — Fab confirms Sab

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has wheeled out his trademark "here we go" catchphrase regarding Manchester United's pursuit of Bayern Munich midfielder Marcel Sabitzer.

The Italian journalist is normally on the money when it comes to confirming completed transfers, which will fill United fans with glee on this occasion.

Sabitzer had not even been vaguely linked with Old Trafford before this morning but things have progressed swiftly, with the Austrian pictured earlier boarding a flight from Munich to Manchester.

Publicidad

He will add some vital cover for Erik ten Hag after the influential Christian Eriksen was ruled out for at least three months with an ankle problem.

Look out for the official announcement in the coming hours!

6.40pm — Sami Lokonga links up with Vieira

As Jorginho edges closer to Arsenal, Albert Sambi Lokonga looks to have found a new home in the south of the city.

The Belgian midfielder is set to spend the remainder of the season on loan at fellow London outfit Crystal Palace, with a medical completed earlier this afternoon.

With Gunners icon Patrick Vieira at the helm at Selhurst Park, Mikel Arteta will hope the Eagles boss can impart some of his wisdom onto the 23-year-old midfielder.

6.30pm — Toffees' day turning sour

Sean Dyche was hoping to have reinforcements through the door at Everton today

New Everton boss Sean Dyche was very optimistic of getting at least one or two new faces in at Goodison Park today — but things have been eerily quiet so far.

Names linked with the Toffees this morning included Cheslea midfielder Conor Gallagher, Roma star Nicolo Zaniolo and £22m-rated Udinese striker Beto.

All of those pursuits appear to have come to nothing, however, with a slightly less glamorous swoop for Reading striker Lucas Joao the latest rumour doing the rounds.

Publicidad

Joao, 29, has five goals in 22 Championship appearances this term and his contract with the Royals is up this summer, meaning a cut-price deal could be on the cards.

If the club cannot work some magic in the coming hours, Dyche will have to work with what he has got.

6.10pm — All roads Leed to Rome

Leeds defender Diego Llorente has completed a loan switch to Roma with a view to a permanent deal in the summer.

The Spain international started the Whites' first seven Premier League games this term but has featured just twice under Jesse Marsch since.

Overall, the 29-year-old made 59 appearances after joining from Real Sociedad following the Yorkshire side's promotion in 2020.

5.40pm — Midfielders on the move

While most of the day’s high-profile transfers remain in the balance, plenty of other deals are being completed in this early part of the evening.

Ex-Chelsea youngster Nathaniel Chalobah has swapped Fulham for West Brom, penning an 18-month deal at the Hawthorns having made only four Premier League appearances for the Cottagers this term.

Scottish giants Rangers have also added to their engine room with the permanent addition of Nicolas Raskin, a Belgian Under-21 international who arrives at Ibrox from Standard Liege.

Aston Villa have been busy, too.

Publicidad

Winger Bertrand Traore has been recalled from his loan spell with Turkish outfit Istanbul Basaksehir, with Unai Emery seemingly keen to reintegrate the Burkina Faso international.

Meanwhile, Zimbabwean Marvelous Nakamba has headed to Championship side Luton on loan, while Aaron Ramsey will link up with his Villa team-mate Cameron Archer at Middlesbrough for the rest of the season.

5.25pm — Spence heads to Rennes

Tottenham right-back Djed Spence has joined French side Rennes on loan for the rest of the campaign.

Much was expected of the 22-year-old when he joined from Middlesbrough last summer after catching the eye in Nottingham Forest's promotion season.

But the England Under-21 international has made only six appearances under Antonio Conte this term, all of which were from the bench.

Spence will link up with fellow Spurs loanee Joe Rodon at Rennes as he looks to earn some vital first-team minutes ahead of returning to North London in the summer.

5pm — Blues battling for Fernandez

Chelsea's long-standing pursuit of Benfica midfielder Enzo Fernandez looked to have ended in disappointment, though fresh reports are now claiming a deal remains on the cards.

Fernandez is said to be undergoing a medical in Portugal as we speak, which suggests there is still a chance of him ending up at Stamford Bridge before the window slams shut.

Given the Eagles are demanding a nine-figure sum for the World Cup winner, an agreement would take the Blues' total January spending well over the £300million mark.

Publicidad

Graham Potter will be hoping his new recruits can settle quickly, with the Blues 10 points behind fourth-placed Manchester United going into their Friday night home clash with Fulham.

4.30pm — Mbete completes Bolton switch

Manchester City prospect Luke Mbete has completed a loan move to League One side Bolton until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old defender spent the first half of the campaign at Huddersfield but the deal was terminated after making only six Championship appearances.

4pm — Jorginho signed and sealed

Jorginho's move to Arsenal from Chelsea looks to be all-but done after being pictured in a Gunners shirt for the first time.

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano says the Italian has agreed his switch to the Emirates on an 18-month contract with the option to extend for a further year.

Keep your eyes peeled for the official club announcement soon!

3.30pm — United eyeing Sabitzer?

Welcome to LiveScore's live coverage of transfer deadline day!

Publicidad

Clubs in England have until 11pm to get any last-minute deals over the line and several moves look certain to go to the wire.

Manchester United are supposedly pondering a late move for Bayern Munich midfielder Marcel Sabitzer after news broke earlier today of an injury that will rule Christian Eriksen out until at least April.

Sky Sports suggest the Red Devils would like to take the Austrian on loan, but will Bayern be willing to let someone who has made 24 appearances this term leave at such short notice?

As for Chelsea also holding an interest, is there anyone the Blues will not try and buy this window?!
