There are eight games scheduled in the Premier League on Saturday, with the likes of Aston Villa and Liverpool hoping to build on their wins in Europe in midweek.

Tottenham and Manchester United are also in action and here are our expert writers' top selections from each of those games.

West Ham vs Chelsea (12.30pm)

West Ham will look to return to winning ways when they host Chelsea in Saturday's lunchtime kick-off.

Chelsea have gained seven points in their last three Premier League games, while West Ham have only won once this season in the top flight.

The Blues are unbeaten in their last five away games in the league and will feel that they can beat the Hammers for the fourth time in six matches.

Aston Villa vs Wolves (3pm)

Aston Villa have won four of their five games in all competitions this season and they will expect to have too much for a Wolves side that have yet to win in the league.

Gary O'Neil's side should be able to find the net, though, with Villa conceding in eight games on the spin without keeping a clean sheet.

Fulham vs Newcastle (3pm)

Eddie Howe's Newcastle have yet to lose this season and they will put that unbeaten record on the line when they travel to the capital to take on Fulham.

The Cottagers are winless in three but they have remained competitive of late, drawing their last three games in all competitions 1-1.

Newcastle have only kept one clean sheet in their previous 11 matches in all competitions, so both teams are likely to find the back of the net.

Leicester vs Everton (3pm)

Jamie Vardy has scored two goals in four games so far and will fancy his chances for more against struggling Everton

Leicester will hope to move five points clear of Everton when the two teams meet at the King Power Stadium.

The Foxes won 17 of their 23 league matches in the Championship last season, while the Toffees have lost all four of their league games this season.

Everton coach Sean Dyche is under immense pressure and another tough afternoon at the office is expected.

Liverpool vs Bournemouth (3pm)

After their shock 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest last week, Liverpool will look to respond when they entertain Bournemouth at Anfield.

Publicidad

The Reds have won 10 of their last 11 games against the Cherries in all competitions, while Andoni Iraola's side have only won one of their previous seven games in the top flight.

Southampton vs Ipswich (3pm)

Southampton welcome fellow newly-promoted team Ipswich to the south coast on Saturday.

The Tractor Boys did the double over Southampton last season in the Championship, and Southampton's struggles in the top flight do not look like they will disappear quickly.

Russell Martin's side are winless in 17 in the Premier League and they are yet to collect a point in the top flight, so Ipswich should be able to escape with at least a share of the spoils.

Tottenham vs Brentford (Saturday 3pm)

Ange Postecoglou saw Spurs claim a dramatic midweek League Cup win at Coventry

Tottenham were fortunate to beat Coventry in midweek in the Carabao Cup, and they have only won once in the Premier League this season.

Brentford should be able to make life difficult for their opponents, and they head into the game in decent form having collected six points from four games.

Crystal Palace vs Manchester United (5.30pm)

Eberechi Eze has been trigger happy this season and is fancied to find the net against Manchester United

Crystal Palace did the double over Manchester United last season and they will hope midfielder Eberechi Eze can fire them to a third this weekend.

The England international has scored three goals in six appearances this season and he has already registered 18 shots in four league matches.

United still look vulnerable defensively, so Eze can have his say at Selhurst Park.
