Manchester United host Chelsea in the first round of midweek Premier League fixtures this season.

Elsewhere on Matchday 15, Treble winners Manchester City travel to the fortress of Villa Park, while injury-depleted Tottenham host West Ham in a London derby.

Read on to discover all the key facts and stats ahead of every top-flight game.

Wolves vs Burnley (Tuesday, 7.30pm, Prime Video)

Burnley's trip to Wolves opens the midweek action with Vincent Kompany's side fresh from a 5-0 home win over Sheffield United.

Publicidad

The Wanderers are winless in their last seven against the Clarets and without a victory in their last five Premier League games against newly-promoted sides.

Burnley are unbeaten in their previous 17 midweek matches (nine wins, eight draws) — a run that stretches back to March 2022.

Luton vs Arsenal (Tuesday, 8.15pm, Prime Video)

Arsenal will be looking to maintain their position at the top of the Premier League when they travel to Luton.

This is the first meeting between the two sides in any competition since December 1991 — the Hatters won 1-0 at Kenilworth Road in a First Division clash.

No side in the Premier League has kept more clean sheets (four) or conceded fewer goals (three) on the road than Arsenal this season, although Luton have only failed to score in one of their home matches.

Brighton vs Brentford (Wednesday, 7.30pm, Prime Video)

Injury-ravaged Brighton are aiming to bounce back from their 3-2 defeat at Chelsea when they host Brentford.

Publicidad

The Bees have won only one Premier League game outside London this year, drawing three and losing seven.

And stopping Brighton starlet Evan Ferguson will be high on Thomas Frank's agenda with the Irish striker scoring seven goals in his last eight top-flight games at the Amex.

Evan Ferguson has been in lethal form at home

Crystal Palace vs Bournemouth (Wednesday, 7.30pm, Prime Video)

Resurgent Bournemouth will be eager to end a recent poor run at Selhurst Park.

The Cherries have lost in their last three visits to Crystal Palace with last season's meeting ending in a 2-0 victory for the Eagles.

But Bournemouth will be buoyed by their opponent's shocking record in Wednesday matches — the South Londoners winning only one of the last 15.

Fulham vs Nottingham Forest (Wednesday, 7.30pm, Prime Video)

Fulham have rediscovered the scoring touch in the Premier League, netting six times in their last two matches after mustering only 10 goals in the previous 12 games.

They welcome a Nottingham Forest side to Craven Cottage in desperate need of a spark following a 1-0 home defeat to Everton last Saturday.

Publicidad

Fulham have won seven of the last nine meetings between the pair, including both fixtures last season by an aggregate score of 5-2.

Sheffield United vs Liverpool (Wednesday, 7.30pm, Prime Video)

Trent Alexander-Arnold has scored in each of Liverpool's last two Premier League games

Rock-bottom Sheffield United face yet another stern examination after their 5-0 humbling at Turf Moor.

In-form Liverpool are the Yorkshire outfit's latest test, with the Reds' star-studded attack coming up against a defence which has shipped 39 goals in 14 Premier League matches this season.

Jurgen Klopp's side have won their last two top-flight fixtures at Bramall Lane but are winless in four matches against newly-promoted teams.

Aston Villa vs Manchester City (Wednesday, 8.15pm, Amazon Prime)

City will seek to get back to winning ways against an Aston Villa side who have won their last 13 home Premier League matches.

Pep Guardiola is without the services of Rodri and Jack Grealish due to suspension, while Jeremy Doku could also miss out after picking up an injury in the 3-3 draw with Tottenham.

Publicidad

City's recent top-flight record against Villa is outstanding, though, with the champions winning 11 of the last 13 meetings and drawing the other two.

The match also pits two of the division's most potent strikers against one another in top scorer Erling Haaland (14 goals) and Ollie Watkins, who has tallied eight goals and six assists this season.

Manchester United vs Chelsea (Wednesday, 8.15pm, Amazon Prime)

Enzo Fernandez scored his first two Premier League goals in the 3-2 win over Brighton

The headline midweek fixture sees United looking to bounce back from a 1-0 defeat at Newcastle against a team they have an excellent recent record against.

Chelsea are winless in their last 11 Premier League matches vs the Red Devils and have not claimed three points at Old Trafford since a 1-0 victory in May 2013.

Blues star Raheem Sterling has scored or assisted in his last two away matches, although has not netted against United in 24 attempts across all competitions.

But he and Chelsea will be motivated by the fact Erik ten Hag's side have lost three of their previous five home Premier League matches — and are yet to beat a team in the top half this term.

Everton vs Newcastle (Thursday, 7.30pm, Amazon Prime)

Newcastle travel to Everton with an even longer injury list after losing goalkeeper Nick Pope to a serious shoulder problem sustained in the 1-0 win over United.

Publicidad

Everton — still reeling after being deducted 10 points for breaching financial rules — have lost five of their last six Premier League matches against the Magpies.

However, Eddie Howe's men only boast one victory from their last eight games on the road — the 8-0 thrashing of Sheffield United in September.

Tottenham vs West Ham (Wednesday, 8.15pm, Amazon Prime)

Heung-Min Son scored the opener in Tottenham's 3-3 draw with Manchester City

Tottenham are set to welcome back Cristian Romero from a three-match suspension as they host a West Ham side who have lost nine of their last 10 away London derbies in the Premier League.

Two of the division's in-form attackers will lock horns in North London.

Spurs captain Heung-Min Son has eight goal contributions (five goals, three assists) in eight home games against the Hammers and Jarrod Bowen boasts a record of six away strikes this season.

But David Moyes' side have not kept a clean sheet in any of their previous 11 away Premier League outings and have conceded 24 goals in 2023-24 — the second-worst total in the top half behind Brighton.
