Whiskey Sour is looking to build on Naas trip

As the weekend comes to a close, we have jumps racing from Ireland to focus on.

Leopardstown is the stage for Sunday's seven-race card with action at the Dublin venue from 1.55pm until 5.20pm and conditions forecast to be 'Yielding-yielding to soft in places on hurdle course'.

We have picked out five horses for you to follow.

1.55pm - Donohoe Marquees Maiden Hurdle (2m4f)

Noel Meade saw HARALD HARDRAD win a bumper at Clonmel on testing ground back in November on his rules introduction and the following month he was second on hurdles bow at Navan over this trip, giving the useful-looking Whatdeawant plenty to think about late on.

A drop back to 1m7½f at Naas last month appeared to catch him out and this stamina test should be much more his thing.

A replication of that debut hurdles effort may be good enough for the Gigginstown inmate to open his account over timber.

LiveScore selection: Harald Hardrad

2.30pm - Anton O'Toole Hurdle (2m2½f)

The Willie Mullins-trained WHISKEY SOUR looks difficult to oppose here. He is a Grade 1 winner in his pomp and he ran well when third to Darasso at Naas five weeks ago.

He is the best of these on ratings, by some 6lb from Wolf Prince, and that rival must concede him 5lb this afternoon.

Gavin Cromwell's charge was out of sorts when last spotted and with Gallant John Joe reverting to hurdles for the first time in three years, this looks a prime opportunity for Whiskey Sour to end his losing sequence.

3.40pm - Leopardstown Members Mares Handicap Hurdle (2m4f)

Robert Widger's mare INDIE BELLE upped her game to record a first hurdles success at the eighth time of asking when scoring at Punchestown (2m4½f, soft to heavy) in February.

She looked to be getting the better of The Dreams Alive when that rival exited at the final flight and eventual second Wild Hunt ran out a convincing winner in midweek at Clonmel to boost the form.

Indie Belle is 6lb higher today and has scope to build on that win.

LiveScore selection: Indie Belle

4.15pm - Irish Stallion Farms EBF Rated Novice Chase (2m1f)

Henry de Bromhead is looking to get back to winning ways

Last-time-out scorers Fighting Fit and Bythesametoken are respected in bidding to follow up victories at Naas and Down Royal respectively.

They both had Alice Avril behind in those wins, leaving the mare with plenty to work on now and so her Henry De Bromhead-trained stablemate KALKAS is given a chance here.

He was down the field behind Ferny Hollow on chasing bow in early December and then did not see his race out on testing ground at Limerick over Christmas after suffering interference on more than one occasion. It remains early days for him.

LiveScore selection: Kalkas

4.50pm - TRI Equestrian Handicap Chase (Grade B, 2m5½f)

Fakir D'alene won a close battle with Donkey Years when they clashed at Thurles six weeks ago, the pair should be in the mix again.

RIGHTPLACERIGHTIME was defeated in Britain last weekend when well-fancied for the Emmet Mullins team. That came on the back of a big run over hurdles at this venue at last month's Dublin Racing Festival.

He is able to race from a 7lb lower Irish mark now and if they go a decent lick in front, Brian Hayes' mount should be on the scene late.

LiveScore selection: Rightplacerightime
