Manchester City’s tricky trip to Championship outfit Bristol City features among six FA Cup fifth round ties to be selected for TV coverage.

The Citizens are the favourites to lift the famous trophy this season having dumped out their Premier League title rivals Arsenal 1-0 in a blockbuster clash in the previous round.

But they will face a stern examination from Nigel Pearson’s side at Ashton Gate, with the Robins looking to reach a first quarter-final in 49 years.

We have rounded up all you need to know ahead of the latest set of broadcasted matches in football’s oldest competition.

City, Manchester United and Tottenham were able to make it through at the first time of asking but there is still a chance of a surprise winner this term too.

Seven non-Premier League sides will feature in the last 16 with either Burnley or Fleetwood guaranteed a place in the quarter-finals.

Which FA Cup fifth round ties will be televised?

Manchester United's clash with West Ham is among the televised picks

City’s local rivals United are also in front of the cameras, with Erik ten Hag’s side hosting an all-Premier League encounter with West Ham, managed by their former boss David Moyes.

Second-tier Stoke’s clash with in-form Brighton kicks the televised action off, while Tottenham’s trip to Championship side Sheffield United looks sure to be a tasty affair.

What are the big stories to look out for in the FA Cup fifth round?

The FA Cup looks likely to be Antonio Conte's best chance of silverware with Tottenham

Both Manchester clubs will be confident of taking one step closer to Wembley glory.

Surprisingly, United and City have only lifted this trophy twice each since the turn of the century and this looks a prime opportunity for one of the pair to add to that tally.

Meanwhile, Spurs are long overdue a trophy and with their Premier League campaign having not gone to plan, Antonio Conte will likely view this competition as his best chance of silverware in North London.

Brighton are a real dark horse under Roberto De Zerbi having played some sensational football this term and the Seagulls will rarely get a better chance to win this competition for the first time ever.
